Grants of up to $2,500 to West Virginia government agencies, nonprofit organizations, and schools in eligible counties for conservation and preservation projects. Funding is intended to support organizations that are working to protect habitats, preserve historic assets, promote stewardship, and educate children about the importance of natural resources conservation and historic preservation. Grantmaking is confined to Jefferson, Berkeley, and Morgan Counties.

The Two Rivers Giving Circle is one of the few local sources of grants for Eastern Panhandle nonprofit groups that are engaged in historic preservation and natural resources conservation.

The Foundation seeks to assist groups that:

  • Save Panhandle Treasures by protecting historic assets
  • Safeguard Habitats by conserving land, watersheds, and other natural resources
  • Promote Stewardship by supporting sound waste management and recycling efforts
  • Educate Children about the importance of historic preservation and natural resources conservation through engaging and innovative programs
