Grants of up to $3,000 to Georgia nonprofit organizations for projects that benefit residents of Coffee County and the immediate surrounding area. Past grants have funded an after-school program at a center for social change, a nutrition program for children, and outdoor recreation upgrades at an outreach ministry.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Nonprofit organizations in Coffee County and the immediate surrounding area are eligible to apply for grants from the CFCC Community Grant Program.

Organizations that receive funding through the Community Grant Program will not be eligible to apply to the Community Grant Program for the following year.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications must be submitted by 12:00 PM on September 1st.

You will need a User ID and Password to access the application. Please note that it will take at least one business day to process a new registration for the Web Portal; do not wait until the week of the deadline to register. Once your registration is processed, complete the CFCC Community Grant Program’s application.

After the application deadline, CFCG staff and the Community Foundation of Coffee County Board of Directors will perform due diligence on all grant applications. The due diligence process may include a conversation with the grant contact to gather further information that can help the Board of Directors make their decisions. The Community Foundation of Coffee County Board of Directors will propose grants to the CFCG Board of Directors for final approval. Community Grant applicants are notified in writing, typically within three months of the application deadline.

The Community Foundation of Coffee County Community Grant Program will only consider one proposal from any one nonprofit during a twelve-month period.

The Community Foundation of Coffee County encourages organizations to use this grant in applying for matching funds to maximize the funding potential.
