Speedway Children's Charities (SCC) Atlanta Chapter
Grants to Atlanta, Georgia nonprofit organizations to benefit local children. Applications are invited from organizations working to meet the needs of children, whether those needs are due to their social environment, disability, or illness. The Foundation is dedicated to helping improve the quality of life for children.

First-year applicant’s maximum request cannot exceed $4,000.
Organization must be registered as a 501(c)3. Organizations must serve the community for a minimum of one year to be eligible.
-Capital projects or office supplies are ineligible for funding.
-Grants for purchase of vehicles will be ineligible.
-Funding cannot be used for salaries or consulting fees.
-Funding cannot be used for scholarship programs.
The application must be postmarked by the deadline of August 31, 2018.
he Atlanta Chapter Board of Trustees meets in November to make final decisions on the awarding of grants. Following that meeting, all applicants are notified in writing whether or not their charity will receive funding that year. Please, no phone calls or e-mails during this process to check the status of your application, as it slows down the process for all who have applied.
SCC will notify every organization who applies for a grant of its decisions when they are made. Grants are distributed by Speedway Children's Charities in early December.
