Grants of up to $3,000 to Alaska nonprofit organizations, Tribal entities, faith-based organizations, and schools in eligible locations for community benefit programs. Funding is intended for a wide range of programs that benefit residents, including active enjoyment of the natural environment, compassionate health care, innovative education, community enrichment, and arts and cultural expression. Grants must benefit the Upper Susitna Valley. Preference will be given to applications that have the potential to impact a broad range of area residents.
Evaluation criteria include but are not limited to the overall merit of the project, the ability of the organization to successfully complete the project, the clarity, and measurability of the project’s goal, the feasibility of the time frame given for completion of the project, and the number of people served.

Grant projects are typically completed within one year of award.
