Request a Grant Writer

Grants ranging from $2,000 to $10,000 to Georgia, Kentucky, Texas, and Utah nonprofit organizations to assist families manage their household finances, and to ensure the financial and physical well-being of young people. Eligible organizations are located in communities where the funding source has a business presence.

Grants are made to organizations serving the 11-county Metro Atlanta area of Cherokee, Clayton, Cobb, Coweta, DeKalb, Fayette, Forsyth, Fulton, Gwinnett, Hall, and Henry Counties.

Grants are also made to nonprofits in out-of-state branch communities in which Delta Community Credit Union does business. Out-of-state-branches are located in Florence, Kentucky; Southlake, Texas; and Salt Lake City, Utah.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Average grants range from $2,000 to $10,000.

Term of Contract:

Projects/Programs must take place within the 2019 calendar year following notification that the grant has been awarded.

Unused grants must be returned by the end of the 12-month period.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Only registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations in the metro Atlanta, 11-county region and out-of-state branch communities in which Delta Community Credit Union does business are eligible to apply.

Organizations or programs that received funding in 2018 through the Delta Community Credit Union Philanthropic Fund Program are not eligible for funding in 2019 but may reapply in subsequent years.

Pre-Application Information:

The application period for 2019 funding is now open. Applications must be received by August 31, 2018 at 5:00 p.m. ET.

Once grant applications are reviewed, all applicants will receive a written response by December 7, 2018.
