Grants to Tennessee and Virginia nonprofit organizations serving eligible counties to benefit local children. Funding is intended for programs that address the medical, social, educational, and critical needs of children. Eligible applicants are those serving the counties of Carter, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington in Tennessee and Buchanan, Dickenson, Lee, Russell, Scott, Smyth, Tazewell, Washington, and Wise in Virginia.
Priority consideration will be given to organizations helping the homeless, orphan and foster population, and victims of sex trafficking. All applications will receive consideration and all eligible organizations are encouraged to apply.
Eligible applicants for funding from Speedway Children's Charities are existing 501(c)(3) nonprofit charities whose primary focus is children.
Pre-Application Information
This grant application must be completed and received no later than midnight on May 15, 2023.
Organizations whose applications are accepted will be contacted via email and asked to submit additional application information, including financial documents and proof of non-profit status. Only organizations who complete both phases of the application process will be considered for funding.
