Kansas Department of Wildlife, Parks and Tourism (KDWPT)
Grants to Kansas government agencies for the development of recreational trails, and other trail-related projects. Project categories include motorized, non-motorized, and multi-use trails. High priority will be given to projects that promote improved ADA and environmental impacts. Please note that 30% of funding will be devoted to motorized projects. Projects which provide for motorized recreation activities are encouraged.

Applications may be submitted by government agencies.
The deadline for submission is August 1st of each year, unless otherwise announced. Applications must be postmarked no later than this date.
The grant program provides eighty percent matching funds, on a reimbursement basis, for eligible recreational trail and trail-related projects.
