Kids In Need Foundation
In-kind grants of fundamental school supplies to USA teachers to benefit children whose families cannot afford to purchase supplies. The program is intended to equip disadvantaged children in classrooms across the country with the necessary provisions for learning to ensure the success of every child. Grant recipients will receive two large boxes filled with a wide range of predetermined class essentials, such as paper, scissors, notebooks, rulers, glue sticks, pens, and pencils.

An estimated 1300 teachers (for a total of 2600 boxes) will receive the award in 2018.
Teachers from schools not serviced by the National Network of Resource Centers are encouraged to apply for teacher supply boxes.
To be eligible, a teacher must teach in a school where 70% or more of the students receive free or reduced-price lunches.
The 2018 application window is open from July 18 to August 19, 2018.
Applications are available in the summer, in time for the school year. Awards may be funded at any point during the school year, as resources permit.
