Grant to a New Mexico individual to support a filmmaking project. The purpose of this program is to help a local resident write and work on their screenplay. Eligible screenplays must be in the genres of fantasy or science fiction. Submissions must be for full-length films or television pilots. The $5,000 is intended to help the screenwriter continue writing and working on their screenplay.

- Open to New Mexico Residents only.
- You can not be a member of the WGA.
- Submitted scripts must be original screenplays, and the sole property of the applicant(s).
- Submission must be for feature length film or TV Pilot (60 minute).
- Submission must be in the Science Fiction or Fantasy genre.
- You must be at least 18 years of age to enter.
- All entries must be in English.
- You must submit a 5 page treatment and the first 5 pages of the script in pdf format. No other file formats will be accepted. The title page does not count towards the 5 pages.

Deadline for submission September is 15th, 2020 no later than 5pm Mountain Standard Time.
