Grants up to $5,000 to Missouri nonprofit organizations, school programs, agencies, and faith-based programs for projects to benefit the residents of Henry County and Truman Lake area. Past grants have included early reading programs, subsidized day camps, and programs that meet the basic needs of underserved communities.

Youth Empowerment Project
Ongoing grants are also available through the Clinton Youth Empowerment Project for youth-oriented projects that benefit classroom students or programs in the Clinton area.

The Youth Empowerment Project (Y.E.P.) Board is a group of Clinton High School students from the START/Rotary Interact group. Y.E.P.’s goal it to teach high school students about charitable giving and community service. The program has funds that are to be distributed by the students through grants. Grants should be developed as much as reasonably possible by the youth organization, class or group making the request.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Applicants may apply for up to $5,000 in funding for this grant cycle.

YEP proposals requests should not exceed $250.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grant proposals are accepted according to an announced time table, and grant recommendations are made as funds are available. 501(c)(3) organizations or other IRS approved entities (government entities, school districts, and churches) serving the Henry County and Truman Lake area are eligible to apply.

Applicants who serve the Henry County and Truman Lake area are encouraged to apply.

The Clinton Youth Empowerment Project also makes youth-oriented grants to Clinton-area programs.

Pre-Application Information:

Grant application deadline is August 31, 2018 at 11:59 pm. Applications will be notified in October of grant decisions.

All TLCF grant applications must now be filled out and submitted online.

YEP grants are accepted on an ongoing basis.
