Grants to New Britain, Connecticut nonprofit organizations to enable the public to access quality music for free or for a nominal fee. Eligible organizations are those that serve the New Britain community and performances must be conducted in New Britain. Funding is intended "to help in some way in furnishing good music to the public."

Term of Contract:

Grants from the Charles Parker Trust for Public Music Fund are one year in duration. Applicants will not be awarded a grant for more than three consecutive years.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant nonprofit organizations must serve the people of New Britain, Connecticut.

Musical performances must be conducted in New Britain, Connecticut.

Grant request for capital projects will not be considered.

Pre-Application Information:

Proposals are due September 1, 2017. Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by letter within 2 to 3 months after the proposal deadline.
