Grants to New Hampshire nonprofit organizations and government agencies in eligible locations for services that benefit older low-income women. Funding is intended for organizations, programs, and projects that benefit women over the age of 65 with an emphasis on housing and in-home services, including transportation, deliveries, in-home nursing care, home visits, and other supports that help enable older women to remain in their own homes. Eligible applicants serve the Greater Manchester area (Manchester, Bedford, Goffstown, Hooksett, Londonderry, Litchfield, Candia, and Auburn).

Estimated Size of Grant:

The amount of available grant support varies based on the proposal. Grants in recent years have ranged from $4,000 to over $100,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or be a municipality or other subdivision of government.

Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if another public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.

Pre-Application Information:

The application deadline is Friday, September 17, 2021, 5:00 pm Eastern time.

If your project is funded, you will be notified in approximately six to seven with funding to follow in January 2022.
