Grants of up to $2,000 to Lamar County, Georgia nonprofit organizations and faith-based organizations for projects and programs to enhance the quality of life for residents in the local area. Previous grants were awarded for programs at a children's library, health clinic, counseling center, and sports and recreation facility.

The maximum grant amount is $2,000.
The Foundation will consider applications from 501(c)(3) nonprofits, and faith-based organizations only for non-sectarian, community outreach programs.
Grants will be made only to organizations for projects in Barnesville, Lamar County, and the immediate surrounding area.
Applicants must register online to submit an online application. Please complete the online application by 12:00 PM on April 15th.
You will need a User ID and Password to access the application. Please note that it will take at least one business day to process a new registration for the Web Portal; do not wait until the week of the deadline to register.
Community Grant applicants are notified in writing, typically within two months of the application deadline.
The Barnesville-Lamar Community Grant Program will only consider one proposal from any one nonprofit during a twelve-month period. Organizations that receive funding through the Community Grant Program are not eligible to apply for the Community Grant Program the following year.
