Grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to Southborough, Massachusetts nonprofit organizations and town-based agencies for programs and projects that aim to improve the quality of life in the area. Funding will specifically be provided for proposals that fall within the following priority areas:

Human Services:
- To support families, youth, seniors, and underserved populations in creating pathways that improve overall quality of life.

Arts and Culture:
- To support the cultural vitality of the Southborough community, including the visual arts, the performing arts, and historic preservation.

- To support programs that preserve the natural resources of Southborough and to increase environmental awareness, education, and engagement.

Community Building:
- To support increased volunteerism and community involvement, to strengthen civic engagement, and to emphasize collaborations that enhance community initiatives.

For any of the above focus areas, proposals may be submitted for general operating support or for new or existing programs. No preference is given based on the type of support requested.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grants range from $1,000 to $10,000. Grants of more than $10,000 may be considered on a case-by-case basis for projects of exceptional merit.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

SCF accepts grant applications from registered 501(c) (3) nonprofit organizations and town agencies serving Southborough. At this time, SCF will not accept applications from Southborough schools or organized youth sport programs, as they are currently well-funded and stewarded.

Capital requests will not be considered.
