Grants of up to $25,000 to Massachusetts nonprofit organizations in eligible locations that provide arts and cultural programming. Funding is intended for operational support. Eligible organizations provide access to arts and cultural experiences and are located in the MetroWest region.

The Foundation’s 2021 Art & Culture Grant Program will focus on “Resilience, Recovery, and Rebuilding” by supporting arts & culture organizations in MetroWest with one-year general operating grants. In particular, funding will be provided to nonprofits who can demonstrate financial sustainability and have adjusted their offerings in creative ways to continue engaging the community in arts and cultural experiences.

The Foundation supports nonprofit organizations whose primary mission is to provide access to arts and cultural programming in the region. This includes:

  • Visual and/or performing arts education for adults and families, including veterans, individuals with disabilities, aging adults, etc.
  • Performance series that resonate with changing audiences
  • Gallery exhibitions or programming
  • Celebration or preservation of local history and historic cultural landmarks in the region

Specifically, the Foundation encourages proposals from organizations who have demonstrated effective and creative adjustments to their organizations and/or programs during COVID and have clear plans to stabilize and sustain their mission during the recovery and rebuilding stage.
