Grants of up to $30,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations and businesses in eligible areas for events that generate significant income for the local tourism industry. Applicants must meet with program staff and submit preliminary information prior to applying. Funding is intended for programs that benefit Miami Beach. The grant supports events that are new or one-time, have the potential to become recurring, can generate a significant tourism return, and that may have an extraordinary national or international tourism impact for Miami Beach.

The panel will provide priority attention to the following tourism development objectives in regard to making funding decisions:

The maximum grant request is one-quarter of the actual project budget, up to a maximum of $30,000.
The project period is between October 1, 2020, and September 30, 2021:
- First Period: October 1, 2020 - January 31, 2021
- Second Period: February 1, 2021 - May 31, 2021
- Third Period: June 1, 2021 - September 30, 2021
