Grants to Northern Colorado nonprofit organizations, municipalities, educational institutions, and churches for a range of projects that strengthen the communities of Berthoud, Loveland, and the Estes Valley. Please note that grant committee priorities vary across these three regions.

Berthoud Community Fund Committee:
Support projects and programs that:
- Build community engagement in the Berthoud area
- Preserve Berthoud as a great place to live and raise kids
- Achieve obvious and meaningful outcomes

Loveland Community Fund Committee:
Support projects and programs that:
- Identify, recognize, and encourage philanthropic activities and education in Loveland
- Continue to convene community in support and education of downtown revitalization and development
- Approve grants for strategic or transformational projects focused in downtown (low dollar/high impact)
- Have a particular emphasis on youth and seniors

Estes Valley Community Fund Committee:
Support projects and programs that:
- Directly serve the residents of the Estes Valley, enhance the community, and provide support to the diverse local population
- Encourage innovative, sustainable actions that will make a positive difference in the future, reducing needs, and removing barriers that impede success

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Community Foundation makes grants to 501(c)3 charitable entities, educational institutions, churches, and municipalities.

The Foundation does not make grants to individuals or businesses.

Pre-Application Information:

- The brief application form will be available on the URL for Full Text between July 1 and July 22, 2019.
- Funding decisions are typically made by early November.

Fort Collins grantmaking committee does not participate in the Competitive Grant cycle. It does, however, accept grant requests on a rolling basis following discussion with the Director of Donor Services. An agency that is located in Fort Collins may submit a grant application to the Berthoud or Loveland grantmaking committees as long as the agency's funding request meets the criteria.
