Idaho Department of Water Resources
Grants ranging from $5,000 to $20,000 to Idaho municipalities, corporations, homeowners and water users associations, and ground water districts for projects that will reduce demands on water resources. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis through the deadline. Eligible projects involve conservation and efficiency efforts that will either delay or reduce the need for additional groundwater resources.
The eligible geographic area is statewide; however, priority will be given to grant applications from the Eastern Snake Plain Aquifer, the Wood River Aquifer, the Mountain Home Aquifer, the Treasure Valley Aquifer, the Palouse Basin Aquifer, and the Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer.

All paperwork must be in twenty-eight (28) working days prior to the next bi-monthly Board meeting.

Entities requesting funding under the Groundwater Conservation Grant Program must provide $2 (66%) for every $1 (33%) awarded by the Board. In-kind services can be used for one-third (33%) of the projects costs.
