Kitchener and Waterloo Community Foundation (KWCF) - Waterloo Region Record Literacy Fund
Grants ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 to Ontario charitable organizations for literacy programming that will benefit residents of the Waterloo region. Applicants are required to submit a pre-screen application before submitting a full application. Eligible programs include literacy services for adults, literacy activities for children, and English language training for newcomers.
The Foundation will also fund other activities that have a significant impact on literacy such as:
- Resource materials
- Childcare and/or transportation costs for learners
- Field trips
- Community outreach and advertising
- Research directly related to program delivery
