Grants to Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations, for-profits, and municipalities for innovative programs to assist child victims of abuse. Applicants must register in the online system prior to submitting an application. Priority will be given to projects that encourage regional and cross-system coordination of services and to programs that reach child victims of sexual abuse who are underserved or unserved. The goal and objective of the funding is to support direct victim service agencies in meeting the needs of children who are victims of sexual abuse.

For the purposes of this funding announcement, the term “child” refers to an individual under 18 years of age, and “sexual abuse” shall refer to the definition of “sexual abuse or exploitation” under 23 Pa.C.S. §6303 (relating to definitions).

PCCD expects to fund approximately 10 grants.
PCCD expects to fund grants with budgets not to exceed $100,000 over the 2-year project period.
Contingent upon availability of funds, applications approved at the June 10, 2020 Commission meeting will be 2-year projects and have a start date of July 1, 2020 and an end date of June 30, 2022.
