Hunger Mountain Cooperative Community Fund (HMCCF)
Grants ranging from $250 to $2,500 to Vermont organizations and businesses for projects that promote sustainable local food systems and cooperative commerce. Strong priority will be given to smaller-scale projects as well as projects that support local foods systems development.
Past grants have supported local businesses in need of start-up capital, construction of key infrastructure projects like community kitchens, and local activism on food-related issues in central Vermont.

Grants are expected to be used for their stated purpose within one year of distribution. If necessary, the grantee may request an extension of the grant period or return unused funds to the Foundation.
Organizations and businesses located in Vermont are eligible.
Applications will not be accepted from groups that employ Hunger Mountain Co-op Council members and/or members of the HMCCF committee or their immediate family.
Completed applications are due by August 31, 2017. Applications will be reviewed by the HMCCF committee and the Co-op’s council. Awards will be announced at the Co-op’s Annual Meeting on Thursday, November 2, 2017.
