National Sculpture Society (NSS)
Grant of $7,800 to a USA individual sculptor to recognize exceptional dedication and excellence in sculpting. This grant is intended specifically for an individual specializing in animal sculpture. Applicants must submit images of a mature body of work to be judged by a panel of three distinguished sculptors.
The grant will be presented at the June 2018 Sculpture Celebration Conference at Brookgreen Gardens in South Carolina.

The Grant consists of an unrestricted $5,000 cash award, a half-page ad in Fine Art Connoisseur magazine (value: $2,150) and a quarter page ad in Sculpture Review magazine (value: $650).
- Applicants cannot be elected members of the National Sculpture Society.
- All applicants must be citizens of or residents in the United States with a social security number.
- This program is open to individuals of all races, ethnic origins, colors, genders, and religions.
- The grant is for a mature body of work; sculpture created in workshop or instructional settings should not be submitted.
The application deadline is Monday, October 2, 2017.
Submission materials include images of up to twelve works of sculpture and a biography or resume.
