Chautauqua Grants - Gebbie Foundation
Grants starting at $500 to New York nonprofits for economic development projects that strive to rejuvenate Jamestown's downtown area. Funding is intended to make the downtown area an attractive place to live, work, visit, and shop. Economic revitalization projects may be through the support of the Urban Plan and other relevant economic initiatives. Types of Support include matching, challenge, capital, and operating (in limited cases).

Only organizations with 501(c)(3) status with the internal Revenue Service are eligible for support.
Limitations: Individuals, for-profit, sectarian, and religious organizations are not eligible for support.
Applications must be received one month prior to a Board meeting to be considered. Proposals received after that date will be considered at the next Board meeting.
Deadlines for 2018:
- For meeting on January 18, Proposal due December 18
- For meeting on March 29, Proposal due February 28
- For meeting on May 24, Proposal due April 24
- For meeting on July 26, Proposal due June 26
- For meeting on October 4, Proposal due September 4
- For meeting on November 15, Proposal due October 15
