Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD)
Grants to Texas organizations for the development of recreational trails throughout the state. Applications may be submitted for motorized or non-motorized trail projects. Funding may be used to construct new trails, enhance existing trails, develop trailheads, develop trailside facilities, or acquire trail corridors.

This program can provide a maximum of $200,000 for non-motorized trail grants and a maximum award of $400,000 for motorized (off-highway vehicle) trail grants.
Applications may be submitted for both motorized and non-motorized trail projects.
The reimbursable grants can be up to 80% of project cost.
The annual deadline is February 1.
