Grants to Utah nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and tribal agencies to promote vibrant, strong, and diverse communities. Requests will be considered in the program areas of education, community development, human services, and civic, cultural, and arts activities. While Wells Fargo makes grants in those primary areas, it is also supportive of those nonprofit organizations for which Wells Fargo team members have made a commitment to volunteer via direct service or through committee or Board membership.

Community Development: Wells Fargo supports the improvement of low- and moderate-income communities through programs that:
-Create and sustain affordable housing
-Revitalize and stabilize communities
-Teach financial literacy
-As part of its commitment to financial literacy Wells Fargo has developed Hands on Banking / El Futuro en Tus Manos, a comprehensive modular curriculum targeting age groups from grade 4 to senior citizens.

Education: Wells Fargo accepts requests for financial support of educational institutions and for nonprofits whose primary focus is to help these institutions. The primary focus of grant requests should promote academic achievement for low- and moderate-income students.

Human Services: Wells Fargo accepts requests for support of human service organizations and gives priority to those whose work primarily benefits low and moderate – income individuals. Health charities are considered, but their priority for funding is low.

Civic/Cultural/Arts: Wells Fargo considers requests for financial support from organizations that enhance a community’s overall quality of life, including arts programs, cultural festivals, and other activities that help provide opportunities for Utah communities’ diverse residents.
