Grants of up to $2,800 to Oklahoma IHE faculty and students to cover the costs of traveling (domestically within the USA) to meet scientists at one of the funding source's centers, for possible collaboration on research projects in one of the following areas: aeronautics research, human exploration and operations, science, or space technology mission directorate.
Funds will be provided for faculty to spend up to three days and two nights at a NASA Center visiting with scientists. The purpose of this grant is to provide the first step in initiating contact and forging a direct partnership with a NASA Center to develop possible research projects.
Research must align with the NASA Strategic Plan 2014 and the OneOklahoma – A Strategic Plan for Science and Technology – 2016, both of which are attached below in Supporting Documents.

The period of performance runs from December 8, 2017 to May 15, 2018.
These grants are for faculty at Institutions of Higher Education (IHEs). Faculty may include students in their travel requests.
All travel must be domestic only. Travel Grant funds may not be used for international travel.
Your specific research area and your emphasis must apply to NASA Strategic Goals and Objectives and be supported by one of NASA's Four Mission Directorates:

- Human Exploration and Operations
- Space Technology Mission Directorate
