The Jewish Federation in the Heart of New Jersey
Grants of up to $30,000 to Israel nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that address Jewish communities' most pressing needs. Funding is intended to support high-impact programs that will have long lasting affects in Israel and Europe, making a difference for vulnerable populations.
Funding will be provided for programs that support the following:
- Marginalized groups within Israeli society such as the Ethiopian population, at risk youth, those with special needs, and Israelis who lack basic education
- Vocational training, providing skill sets making it possible to enter the workforce and secure long term employment
- Basic needs of society such as such as food (including water), shelter and clothing
Note: Organizations may apply for more than one program.

Eligible organizations can request up to $30,000 per program.
Israel-based nonprofits with an organizational budget of $2,500,000 or less, and with a program budget of $500,000 or less can apply. Organizations may apply for more than one program.
The grant deadline is August 25th, 2017
