Award of $250 to recognize a New Hampshire math teacher in their first through fifth year of teaching for exceptional achievements. The award is intended for a candidate that demonstrates commitment to good mathematics, confidence that all children can learn, a spirit of self-reflection and professional curiosity, caring and concern for colleagues, a willingness to explore, to learn, and to grow as a teacher of mathematics, and a willingness to share mathematical and pedagogical activities with others.


$250 prize and a one-year membership to NHTM.

Nominee should be a beginning math teacher in her/his first through fifth year.

The presentation of the award will be made at the NHTM Spring Conference.
