Description:

Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,500 and grants of up to $10,000 to Indiana individuals, families, organizations, and groups in eligible counties for programs that provide local communities with their basic needs. Funding is intended for community services such as healthcare, food, clothing, and shelter. Eligible counties include Orange, Washington, Crawford, Martin, and Lawrence. Generally, funds will be provided to meet the needs of applicants that are not being met through other sources.

Estimated Total Program Funding:

Estimated Size of Grant:

Individuals and families: Up to $2,500
Groups and organizations: Up to $10,000

Under extenuating circumstances, additional funding may be available to individuals, families, groups, or organizations if approved by all of the Trustees who are responsible for administering the Fund.

Term of Contract:

Organizations and individuals will have one year to fulfill the requirements for the grant awarded.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any individual, family, group, or organization located within the Organization's Orange County service area is eligible to apply for funds.

The following will not be eligible for funding:
- Candidates for political office, political parties, or any political purpose
- Activities or requests that lack solid community support
- Payment of utility bills
- Labor charges
- Distributed to individuals, churches, or groups of one specific religious domination

Pre-Application Information:

Deadlines to submit an application for upcoming grant cycles:
- February 21, 2020
- June 19, 2020
- October 23, 2020

The Operation Round Up Board of Trustees upcoming meetings:
- March 9, 2020
- July 13, 2020
- November 9, 2020

Applications may be submitted at any time. Operation Round Up Trustees meet quarterly to review applications. If an application is not returned by the dates listed above, the application will be included in the next grant cycle.

The Board of Trustees will notify applicants within thirty days following action.
