Request a Grant Writer

Grants ranging between $250 and $1,000 to California medical student organizations for programs that will contribute to the overall health and wellness of local communities. Programs must be related to health, and may be in the areas of education, advocacy, community service, and outreach. Priority will be given to projects for which funding is not traditionally provided by medical schools or local community sponsors.

Funding may be used towards a wide range of issues including, but not limited to, diversity in the workforce, providing services for the uninsured, and providing health education material to ethnic communities.

$250 - $1,000

Projects must be no longer than one year in duration.

Medical student organizations, in all allopathic and osteopathic programs, in California are eligible to apply.

Funds are disbursed on a reimbursement basis.
