Grants to Grant County, Kansas nonprofit organizations and government entities for projects or programs that address community needs and improve the local quality of life. The Foundation accepts requests for new initiatives or to enhance existing programs.

The Foundation considers grants that support a variety of funding opportunities including, but not limited to projects of programs that support:

  • Arts
  • Community Development
  • Education
  • Environmental/Beautification
  • Health
  • Human Services
  • Recreation
  • Technology
  • Youth

Term of Contract:

The Final Report is due at the completion of your program and before an additional grant will be funded, or approximately one year from the date funds are received.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Eligible applicants:
- 501(c)(3) or other exempt organizations/groups or the government equivalent
- Individuals or organizations that do not fall into one of the above types of institutions are encouraged to partner with a fiscal agent in one of those categories. If that is not possible, a grant may still be awarded for a charitable project, but with additional expenditure responsibility requirements.
- Unless noted otherwise, priority is given to projects or programs that benefit Grant County, Kansas.

The GCCF will not consider the following:
- Applications for non-charitable purposes
- Political projects of any kind
- Organizations or projects that practice discrimination by race, color, creed, sex, age or national origin
- Operating deficits or retirement of debt
- Religious organizations for religious purposes
- Religious organizations for religious purposes

Pre-Application Information:

The Grant County Community Foundation reviews applications three times per year. Applications are continually available and must be postmarked no later than the closing date for the cycle it is to be considered.
