Grants ranging between $250 and $500 to Fairfax County, Virginia schools or school groups for projects benefiting the environment. Funding may be awarded for projects in the areas of recycling, reusable projects, composting, trash control and prevention, initiatives that are sustainable, and more. The funding source encourages sustainable projects that can be continued beyond the grant period.

$250 - $500

All projects must be completed by the end of the school year unless more time is specifically requested.

Grant is open to all Fairfax County Public and Private Schools and clubs and programs that reside in schools.

Please note: If you are asking for recycle bins for your school classrooms, please include a number of bins requested and the size desired.

All requests must include an itemized budget!
