Awards to New Hampshire nonprofits, for-profit companies, individuals, and governments to recognize excellence in, or support of, business throughout a broad range of industries. Awards are available to outstanding for-profit businesses for excellence within their industry, individuals for outstanding leadership in business, and nonprofits or governments for outstanding support of the business sector.

1) Business of the Year Competition

This is an opportunity for NH businesses to celebrate excellence in their companies. Eight NH companies will be honored, one from each of these industry categories:

-Business Services
-Construction/Engineering/Real Estate
-Education/Nonprofit
-Financial Services/Insurance
-Manufacturing/Technology
-Health Care
-Hospitality/Tourism
-Retail/Wholesale

2) Business Leader of the Year Competition

This is an opportunity to celebrate excellence in their companies and specifically those who lead them. One business leader will be chosen. To qualify, business leaders should have a long-standing tradition of significant contributions to their communities and industries.

3) Business Assistance Organization of the Year Competition

This award recognizes a NH government or nonprofit organization that demonstrates excellence in helping businesses succeed or in advancing economic development efforts within the state. To qualify, organizations must have economic development or business assistance services as the primary focus of their mission.

8 Business of the Year awards; 1 Business Leader of the Year award; 1 Business Assistance Organization of the Year Competition award

Business of the Year Competition: Awards are made to NH businesses. To qualify, companies and organizations must be currently active in business in the state of NH.

Business Leader of the Year Competition: Awards are made to individual business leaders. To qualify, business leaders should have a long-standing tradition of significant contributions to their communities and industries.

Business Assistance Organization of the Year Competition: Awards are made to NH governments or nonprofit organizations. To qualify, organizations must have economic development or business assistance services as the primary focus of their mission.

Winners of all categories from 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015 or 2016 are not eligible to enter.

Applications must be submitted online by January 13, 2017.
