Grants of up to $2,000 to Oregon nonprofit organizations and government agencies for cultural activities and projects in eligible locations. Funding is intended to cover project expenses. Proposals should reflect that COVID-19 safety precautions have been taken into consideration. Applications will be accepted for programming in Columbia County.

  • Protect existing and create new cultural assets
  • Focus on youth to help them experience culture in a variety of ways.
  • Focus on elders to utilize their memories to record local heritage and to seed the future
  • Increase access to and participation in cultural events and activities

Special COVID information: Projects should reflect the safety precautions imposed by the pandemic. Large group gatherings are not possible so creative use of distance methods is encouraged. CCCC will favor projects that increase the accessibility of art and culture to the public. Consider projects that offer participation via Zoom, Google Meet, or other online platform. Outdoor projects may be appropriate during the summer. Example projects: Art kits for kids with video lessons, Oral histories recorded for publication and archive, Script readings with acting coaching via video.
