Grants ranging from $1,000 to $10,000 to Chickasaw County, Iowa nonprofits and agencies for programs in the areas of human services, environment, health, art and culture, community betterment, education, and historical preservation. Funding is intended to improve the quality of life for local residents and to develop rural areas of the County.

The minimum request is $1,000; maximum request is $10,000.
Applicants must be tax-exempt, non-profit entities classified by the IRS as 501(c)(3) organizations or government entities. Charitable projects conducted by tax-exempt organizations classified as other than 501(c)(3) may also be eligible. Please contact the administrative office with questions about eligibility.
If the organization has received past funding from the Chickasaw County Community Foundation, all grant reporting must be up to date and in good standing.
The grant application deadline is 11:59pm on December 31, 2018.
All applicants will be notified of the results of the grant process in mid-March 2019.
Grant awards will be presented during a ceremony in April 2019.
One application per organization per year with the exemption of Government Entities and Fiscal Sponsors; however, fiscal sponsors may only submit one application per sponsored organization. Government entities may submit only one application per department. Schools are considered government entities for foundation granting purposes.
