Grants to Northern Louisiana nonprofits for programs that enhance the quality of life for Shreveport-Bossier City area residents. Applicants must submit a letter of intent prior to submitting a full application. First-time applicants and organizations outside the service area must contact the funding source prior to applying.

Priority will be given to local, small, and innovative programs that will add freedom of action and choice, opportunity, self-betterment, and a climate for change to the lives of the people they serve. The Foundation is particularly interested in supporting those programs which are small, local, innovative and perhaps even unpopular.

The Foundation's priority is to fund organizations based in, or projects serving the residents of, the Shreveport area, but it may also fund requests from other areas, especially those with the potential to be replicated in the Shreveport area if proven effective.
