Grants of up to $5,000 to Northern Nevada nonprofit organizations for projects that promote children’s welfare or are related to western heritage, animal husbandry, and animal welfare. Applicants must work to improve the quality of life for residents of the region. Preference will be given to smaller organizations.
Applicant’s program must be aligned with Reno Rodeo Foundation mission, including but not limited to:
-Children with special needs or circumstances
-Related to rodeo or western heritage
-Related to animal husbandry and welfare or horsemanship
The program must have a significant impact on the organization.

Grant funding may not exceed $5,000 per applicant.
Applicant must be a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit in the State of Nevada in good standing with the Nevada Secretary of State Office.
Program recipients directly benefiting from the grant funding must reside in Northern Nevada.
Priority is given to the applicant with an operating budget less than a million dollars.
Please note: General operating requests, salary expense, academic scholarships, and travel expenses will not be funded.
Grant applications must be received by Friday, January 5, 2018 at 5:00 PM to be eligible for consideration.
All Applicants will be notified on or before March 15, 2018.
Please note: There is only one grant cycle per year and requesting organizations may apply annually. One application per organization only.
