Grants to Loudoun County, Virginia nonprofit organizations, governmental units, and schools for programs and projects that aim to improve the quality of life for local residents. Funded initiatives should specifically focus on one or more of the following areas: shelter, health, hunger, and education.

The goals of these grants are to:
- Maintain or increase the capacity of grantee organizations' missions;
- Provide significant benefits and/or impact to Loudoun County residents; and
- Promote the development of creative and innovative ideas for ways to meet community needs.

Applicants must be:

- A non-profit 501(c)(3);
- A unit of government or school; or
- An approved entity providing services within Loudoun County.

If you meet the eligibility requirements and would like to continue with the grant application process, please follow the steps below.

Step One: Letter of Intent

Organizations wishing to apply for a grant from 100WomenStrong in 2017 will need to file a preliminary Letter of Intent by 5:00 PM on Wednesday, November 30, 2016. The Letter of Intent should be no more than one page (please use a font of at least 11 pts) and include the following information:

1) Name and purpose of your nonprofit organization–must be based in or have programs in Loudoun County
2) Dollar amount of the grant request
3) What the money will fund–outline how you would utilize the grant money
4) How your project(s) will make a difference to Loudoun County and its residents

Nonprofits who submit a Letter of Intent will be notified of the status of their applications on or before January 3, 2017.

Step Two: Grant Application

To be completed by nonprofits who have successfully completed Step One, and who have been invited by email to apply for a 2017 100WomenStrong Grant. Invitations will include all forms needed to complete the application process. Final grant applications will be due by 5:00 PM Friday, January 27, 2017.

Before starting your grant application, please review the funding source's website listed below for updates/changes/addendums/conferences/LOIs.

LOI Submission Information:

Letters should be emailed to LettersofIntent@onehundredwomenstrong.org as a .pdf attachment with the name of the organization in the subject line of the email. Every applicant will receive an email confirming receipt of the Letter of Intent. If an email confirmation is not received, double check to ensure that your email was addressed correctly. 100WomenStrong is not responsible for misaddressed letters.
