Southern Conference on Language Teaching (SCOLT)
Awards of $150 to Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, West Virginia, and US Virgin Islands language teachers who are in the first five years of their teaching career. The purpose of this award is to provide a special conference participation incentive for new teachers.
The awards will be made to teachers dedicated to a long-term teaching commitment who have not yet attended a SCOLT conference and who demonstrate a commitment to future conference participation as part of their professional development.

Two teachers will each receive an award.
Winning teachers will each be awarded a $150 honorarium reimbursement during each annual SCOLT conference.
To be eligible for the Bostick Award, teachers must be in their first to fifth year(s) of teaching dedicated to a long-term teaching commitment who have not yet attended a SCOLT conference, and who demonstrate a commitment to future conference participation as part of their professional development.
The deadline for 2018 is Thursday, March 1, 2018.
Recipients to be announced at the SCOLT Opening General Session on Friday, March 16, 2018 during the conference.
