Award of $3,500 to a West Virginia or Wyoming full-time K-12 teacher to recognize outstanding dedication to providing quality education. Nominations will be accepted on behalf of qualifying teachers from students, colleagues, and community members. Teachers must have a minimum of three years of experience.

Teachers of grades K-12, including Vocational, Special Education and Title 1, in West Virginia and Wyoming are eligible.

The nominee must be an active, full-time teacher with at least three years of experience.

The deadline for public nominations is January 9, 2017.

Nominated teachers must fill out an application, and a judging committee (comprised of past winners and others from the educational community) reviews applications and selects the winners.
