Fellowships of up to $2,000 to Wyoming humanities professionals affiliated with museums, cultural institutions, or historic sites to conduct one or two weeks of research. Fellows will work to create new programs or uses for materials produced by his or her organization. The humanities professional will spend the duration of the fellowship at the University of Wyoming in Laramie.

WIHR will provide appropriate office or workspace, consultation with UW humanities faculty and professional staff members, and a community of interested colleagues who will help the Fellowship winner workshop ideas and approaches in their research.

Estimated Size of Grant:

The Fellowship awards $1,000 per week for up to two weeks of full-time work.

Term of Contract:

Fellowships may be for one or two weeks.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Humanities practitioners from museums, historic sites, and cultural institutions may apply.

Pre-Application Information:

Application deadlines: March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 31.

Fellowships may commence 30 days after notification of award.
