Grants of $15,000 to Tennessee nonprofit organizations in eligible areas to address urgent community needs due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Applicants must contact the funding source prior to applying. Funding is intended to support general operations and emergency programs of organizations that provide services to local vulnerable populations. Eligible organizations must primarily serve the residents of Hamilton County.
Applicants must be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to building a community where all the Community Foundation's neighbors have access to the resources and opportunities they need to reach their fullest potential. This commitment should be evident within internal structures, goals and approaches.
In light of the continued challenges due to the pandemic, the Community Foundation has suspended capacity building and multi-year funding for 2021. During the Spring 2021 Grant Cycle, the Community Foundation is offering general operating grants to assist its nonprofit partners who are working to help the Foundation's neighbors navigate difficult circumstances and regain stability.
