Grants averaging $500 to Oregon, Washington, and Idaho schools for science-based curricula and projects for 4th-12th grade students that focus on water science education and restoration activities. The curriculum must include information about wastewater and/or stormwater treatments to promote clean water education.

The curriculum/project must also include a wastewater treatment facility tour and/or a presentation from a local wastewater/stormwater agency.


The average funding level is $500 per application/applicant, and will vary depending on the number of applicants and funding level request.

The curriculum or project will take place during the 2017 calendar year.

To apply, download the attached application form. Award recipients will be notified by December 16, 2016. Funds will be distributed by January 16, 2017.
