Grants averaging $500 to Oregon, Washington, and Idaho schools for science-based curricula and projects for 4th-12th grade students that focus on water science education and restoration activities. Funding is also available for bus transportation for facility tours of local wastewater treatment plants.
The curriculum must include information about wastewater and/or stormwater treatments to promote clean water education, and a wastewater treatment facility tour and/or a presentation from a local wastewater or stormwater agency.

The average funding level is $500 per application/applicant, and will vary depending on the number of applicants and funding level request.
The curriculum or project will take place during the 2018 calendar year.
Schools serving 4th – 12th grade students in Oregon, Washington, and Idaho are eligible to apply.
Applications for the 2018 calendar year must be submitted by 2:00 pm PST on December 8, 2017. Award recipients will be notified by December 22, 2017. Funds will be distributed by January 19, 2018.
