Grants of up to $1,500 to Wisconsin K-12 math teachers or teams of educators for continuing education or attending professional development conferences. Funds may be used to improve instructional methods, encourage creativity in the classroom, and support the effective teaching of mathematics at all levels.

Funds are available to:
- Develop and implement creative and imaginative teaching approaches and techniques
- Implement teaching techniques and strategies that will increase student achievement in mathematics
- Offset the cost of technology to use in the classroom in the teaching of mathematics
- Pay for Conference or Workshop registration
- Support studies in mathematics or mathematics education

Up to $1,500

The starting and ending date for grant completion will be determined in the application process.

Any current educator who has a focus on mathematics including elementary, middle, or secondary teachers, as well as mathematics supervisors or specialists may apply for WMEF grants.

Grant awardees will be notified by January 15, 2017.
