Request a Grant Writer

Grants to Dublin Area, Ohio businesses and organizations for events involving Irish culture that have the potential to draw tourists and increase business. Requests will be considered for both one-time events and series. Recipients may use funding to hire Irish entertainers from a designated roster.

Although visitors are attracted to Dublin because of the unique Irish feel of the community, they seek more authentic Irish product/entertainment apart from the Dublin Irish Festival and St. Patrick’s Day events, according to a recent study. In order to create a truly unique Irish experience for both visitors and residents alike, the Dublin CVB has created a program that will grant money to Dublin restaurants, attractions, shops, hotels, etc. for offering Irish experiences.

These experiences may take the form of music, dance, unique Irish experiences, etc. A list of recommended entertainers will be provided upon request. A year-long Irish Experience Calendar will be created highlighting entertainment throughout the year and will be marketed to attract visitors and residents to the participating establishments.

There will be an estimated $25,000 available for grants. There are no limits to the amount of grant monies to be requested. The Irish Experience Grant Committee will review and award the grants.
