The Columbus Foundation - Dorothy E. Ann Fund (D.E.A.F.)
Grants to Franklin County, Ohio organizations for programs and projects that benefit children and youth who are deaf or hard of hearing. Funding through these grant will be provided to support hands-on experiences where youth who are deaf or hard of hearing can develop skills and values necessary for successful careers, including leadership training, goal setting, self-esteem building, and interpersonal and communication skills, thereby enhancing participation in their education, family, and community.

Grant Opportunity Open Houses are appropriate for 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organizations serving Franklin County, Ohio.

Deadline: Applications are due December 15. Applications should be no more than three typed pages. A budget page may be attached, which will not count toward the three-page limit.
Process: The D.E.A.F. Advisors will review applications in January. Organizations receiving a grant are expected to attend a November meeting to present a progress report on the funded project or program. Handouts and PowerPoint presentations are appreciated, but not required.
