Grants of up to $500 per classroom to Monterey, California public school K-12 teachers for projects that will enhance students' education. Funding may be used to purchase materials, to support specific projects, or for general classroom improvements.
Past grants have funded arts field trips, stress management tools, science supplies, and picnic benches.

City of Monterey public school teachers (grades K through 12) are encouraged to apply for grants.
Grant requests are accepted from September 1, 2017 through November 30, 2017. The PHH committee meets after December 1, 2017 to review all requests. Notification of the committee’s funding decisions are provided to the school principals by January 1, 2018.
