Grants ranging from $100 to $300 to West Asheville, North Carolina community groups, neighbor collaborations, schools, businesses, and youth groups for edible landscaping projects and the beautification of community spaces, such as boulevard strips, islands, storefronts, and schools.

Projects must be community oriented (not for individual home beautification), visible to the community, and within the area bounded by Patton Ave/Smokey Park Highway, I-40, and the French Broad River.

WAGS will provide about seven grants to winning applicants.

$100 – $300

WAGS is providing seed money to ordinary citizens - community groups, neighbor collaborations, schools, businesses, and youth groups.

How to Apply:

Describe your project, the location, the estimated cost, and how it builds community around gardening in West Asheville. Descriptions should be no more than one page, shorter is fine.

Include the name, phone number, and email address of the main contact person and list the people who will be involved.

Before starting your grant application, please review the funding source's website listed below for updates/changes/addendums/conferences/LOIs.
