Grants to USA nonprofits, public agencies, IHEs, and health science centers to improve access to HIV health and support services for economically disadvantaged and underserved patients. An informational webinar is scheduled for December 5. This program will issue cooperative agreements addressing the following three areas:
1) The Technical Assistance Resources, Guidance, Education, and Training (TARGET) Center provides a web-based central site for TA products that support providers of HIV care and support services.
2) The Data and Reporting Technical Assistance program helps RWHAP recipients improve data reporting for the Ryan White Services Report (RSR) and the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) Data Report (ADR).
3) The Enhancing Community Organization Models within the Health Care Delivery System for People Living with HIV (formerly known as “Establishing service models among AIDS Service Organizations to engage vulnerable populations in the HIV Care Continuum Services”) helps AIDS Service Organizations (ASOs) and community-based organizations’ (CBOs) increase capacity to provide direct HIV care and treatment by revising and/or developing service models and establishing business agreements with core medical and support providers to increase engagement and retention of PLWH.
The primary audience for technical assistance is RWHAP recipients and subrecipient providers. Ultimately, the purpose of each program focus area is to enhance access to high quality HIV care and support services for low income, underinsured, uninsured, and underserved PLWH.
Up to three (3) cooperative agreements will be awarded, with each addressing one of the following three T/TA focus areas.
-TARGET Center: Up to $600,000 per year
-Data and Reporting Technical Assistance: Up to $450,000 per year
