Brady Corporation Foundation
Grants ranging from $5,000 to $50,000 to USA nonprofit organizations in eligible cities to benefit the Foundation's employees where they live and work. Interested applicants must contact the funding source prior to application with a brief description about organizational and funding goals. Funding is intended for programs and projects that focus on strengthening communities, developing leadership, and supporting educational programming.
Funded organizations must serve the cities and surrounding areas where Brady operates:
Port Orange, Florida
San Diego, California
Wolcott, New York
Buffalo, New York
Proposals should align with one of three Brady values: unlocking potential, protecting the future, and differentiating through innovation.
Priorities for each of Brady's three focus areas are outlined below.
Brady supports programs, projects, or organizations that inspire people of all ages – from youth to adults – to be better leaders. The Foundation is looking for organizations that provide the tools, confidence, and training to support strong leaders at school, at work, and in the community.
2. Strengthening Communities:
Brady supports programming that builds strong communities, whether that’s through fighting poverty, feeding the hungry, restoring neighborhoods, stopping violence, or other initiatives that help communities.
3. Educational Programming:
Educational initiatives can encompass early childhood through post-secondary education. The Foundation will consider applications from nonprofit organizations as well as private and public institutions.
All applicants must choose a value and show how it is applicable to their focus area. For example, a program that brings at-risk youth to a university for mentoring run by engineering students so the children develop an interest in STEM would fall under the value of differentiate through innovation and the focus area of educational programming.
